Ysgramor's Rot

I have heard that Ysgramor invented the Nordic script after the Return, and I've been thinking. We know that Ysgramor was most likely involved in the dragon priest cult and we know that the language of the dovah was known to some individuals at least. If we read the word walls, we find epitaphs and recordings of other events that would ordinarily not seem to be important enough for a dragon to record. It seems more likely that they were recorded by men, and that it was a script they could easily use. I say that Ysgramor invented the dragon script, after all, in the words of Michael Kirkbride:

Ysgramor was a dragon.

This may come as obvious to some (especially with the Sons of Skyrim opening in the game), but I just wanted to show this connection for anyone who didn't catch it. Dragons, being eternal, have no need for writing, which has a very primary use in its early phases of being used to convey ideas past the lifespans of the writers. The other major use being the recording of law, which they had no need for either.

Yep, this game is awesome.
