Back Story:
I am Zakarius Svedlin, and I work for a top secret organization within the Providence of Cyrodil. The organization who will be unnamed is a private agency outside of the government. We feel the Blades and Imperial Guard are inadequate. We actually had notice of the assassination plot before the Emperor had his supposed prophecy, so the organization arranged for me to be arrested in attempt to derail the assassination. It was my first mission. I failed, I had planned to stab the assassin but he was a step ahead and hit me with a Silence and Paralyze spell and slayed the emperor right in front of me. I was then charged by a Blade called Baurus with the task of finding the heir to the throne. However I do not, will not, fail again. I now set out to better my skills and only when I am a Master of all trades will I embark on saving the world from... OBLIVION!

That is cool but I play PS3 so no mods. I do have Knights of the Nine though. Aside from that my character is more Melee than anything else. Stealth is a huge backseat.

Edit: Don't you think he's a bit young though? Why would his organization give him such a monumental task when he's so young and relatively inexperienced?

Great backstory, and you kept it short, which is a plus. Got right to the point. My latest character (Breton male mage) also got thrown in jail intentionally, but I forget what happened. I got it written down at home.

I believe there's a mod in which you actually start on the Anvil docks, as a person who just landed in Cyrodiil, no quests, no nothing. Just a couple gold, a dagger and an apple. Then if you get arrested by one of the high-ranking guards; the MQ begins the way it does for vanilla gamers.

Nice backstory! I wonder though if he will try to prove himself in the Arena before embarking on this great quest. Or if he may have a bit of a dark side hidden down deep that could be put to use for the Dark Brotherhood.

I will begin training in the arena, and if I encounter the Dark Brotherhood I will smite them without mercy.

A Good story, with a great song, every character needs one now I think.

My character started with the Arena then went to the DB and now mixes MQ with MG even though he hates MG, don't think there's a theme song for that haha. He does have a reason for this bizarre turn of events however.
