F.NV Zion cannion

The Allegheny... and other river I don't know the names of, flow into the Ohio river, so they go west. The potomac is a smallish river that starts in West Virginia from a mountain source.

Edit: There are also only two rivers, their meeting point is referee to as a triangle. (There is a specific name for it)
Oh... Well... Swedes also have ignorance over foreign countries. >:]
Seriously though, I don't know squat about American geology, I just remember that part vaugely being described in a game I played 1.5 years ago.

I feel smarter already!

I'm suprised nobody noticed that Canyon is spelled Cannion in the title. Or at least didn't point it out.

This is just speculation but in the year 2077 maybe they had more advanced nuclear wepons wich produced more radiation and lasted longer?

You are right that is speculation. There is nothing in the Fallout Universe to support that.

In fact Honest Hearts tells us that the radiation fell below lethal levels only after 97 days. So after 200 years the radation would be gone, which all the other Fallout games has shown us.

And I keep repeating myself on this.. Radiation doesn't stop plants from growing.

Same.

But when talking to people in person I can't help myself which really annoys a lot of my friends.

That would've worked if there was no Fallout 1 or 2.

There was very little radiation for either of those.

If F3 had been a stand alone game or the first in the series then it could've made sense and only would've gone against science instead of lore.

So with this radiation talk, does the glow make sense?

You all know rocks and harder soil will repel and eliminate radiation. Buildings arent hard enough.
Water ob the other hand keeps radiation in for large amount of time thats why people and plant become irradiated

The radiation from the atomic bombs would be gone after 200 years. You would be able to walk around with a geiger counter counter and only detect every day back ground radiation.

So with this radiation talk, does the glow make sense?

Given that we don't see much of the area around the Glow. Its only a big hole in the ground from the surface, there could be leaking nuclear power plant close by the base. Yeah it says "it sustained a direct hit" but that was only Tycho speculating as to what could be the cause of the radiation.

A leaking power plant/reactor would most likely be the source of this radiation, like the Gecko power plant and Vault 34 and 87.

Edit: Since what we see in Fallout is only the subterranean part of what was once West Tek. The surface part given the nature of West Tek could have had its own nuclear reactors and they were destroyed, releasing tons of highly radiactive material into the area.
