I went from Aqua to Cpri. I didn't know that they changed, but I think it makes sense to choose the one you were born with, if you care about it.

Considering how fickle astronomy is it's completely moronic that they have changed the dates. IMO keep the same dates cause it's not like they were really important anyway.

The list includes Ophiuchus, a formation the ancient Babylonians discarded because they wanted 12 star signs, not 13. That's yet another example of how astrologers cherry-pick and ignore astronomical observations, Rao said.

True, but astronomy is actually a science. Astrology is that redneck cousin of Astronomys. So astronomy got tired of astorologys ignorance and kicked it in it's man/lady bits. It complied and fixed it. Why? Cause the stars have moves in the past thousand years.

Here's the way I see it.
If you were born before the Zodiac signs changed, you are still that sign. The differences only apply to people born after the constellation shift.
I may be misinterpreting what the article meant, of course, but eenh.
Not really one for Astrology anyway but if you try to take away my status as a double Scorpio I'll kill you ?_?.

Oh. Well then I'm Pisces and Aries. I've always been rather proud of the fact. I know it means nothing, but the symbolism is irresistible.

Nah, I mean both my sun sign and my moon sign are in Scorpio. (Raised by former hippies, remember? A friend of my parents is an astrologer.)
I never really paid much attention to it, honestly, except to note that the 'personality types' associated with Scorpio are pretty dead-on (at least for me).
Also it gave me an excuse to scream 'Twice as strong! TWICE AS DEADLY!' when people asked me about it. XD

Apparently I'm a Taurus now, instead of a Gemini. To be honest, though, Taurus actually makes more sense to me(the whole "outgoing and sociable" thing really couldn't describe me worse).

Not that it really matters to me, though. Horoscopes are entertaining, but that's about the only value they have, as entertainment.

Say what? How can I not be an Aquarius anymore? I'm currently wearing a gold necklace symbolizing the Aquarius, which I got for my baptism. Guess I gotta throw that away now, thanks astrology! -.-

Also, I read up on my sign (Aquarius) only a few weeks ago, and was startled to see how much they actually got right. So now I started reading about Capricorn, but it was so off that I stopped reading after the first paragraph. Not gonna read too much into it, since astrology just is some new age crap which statistically has to get it right sometimes, but I still like to think that I'm an Aquarius, just 'cause that's what I always have been. [censored] what they say.

Not an Aquarius. This is madness. MADNESS! However, wouldn't we still be what we were born under? Way back when February 4th was under Aquarius. It's not now. I was still born under Aquarius. Ive known this for several months. Amazing how slow information travels around the net some times. And its not recently, its been wrong for a long time.

My feelings are, use the actual ones from now on, but for me, I always will be a Gemini. Ive gown up with it, and because of that, I would say it has influenced my life in some regards that I feel makes me who I am today.

I only ever look up the insulting/alternative horoscopes for a laugh. I went by my new sign (Virgo), and apparently I am a pain in the ass, and most likely to commit drive-by shootings. "Virgos are often found opening and shutting the refrigerator door, attempting to trick the light inside," and Jack was most likely a Virgo at the beginning of "The Shining", until we went all Leo.

We Westerners subscribe to the Tropical Zodiac which goes by seasons. But I still think people will be going nuts over this for while yet. Ah well.
