Ok, Wyatt is the caster, with all of the fireworks.

[edit] and with that I think I'm out for the night.

So we need one more person. We can have support, over watch, field, and tech/healer.
I call not it on the tech/healer.

I thought I was going for support gunner :gun:

Whats overwatch and field?

Ok I actually have 1 more.

For dramatic effect, we also need 1 person in whatever survival group that we make to scream non-stop whenever they see a zombie and not do anything to avoid danger so one of us has to valiantly pull of a series of impossible stunts in order to rescue them, repeatedly.

overwatch - marksman (base operations)
support - LMG or AR (base / scavenge)
field - AR, SMG, pistols, or some arrogant melee tactic. (scavenge)
tech/healer - Bullets and Bandages (base)
caster - Boom (base, ambush, field operation obstacle remover)

Ooo...I guess you should use summon cheat then...Overwatch - Sam Fisher or Hitman, Support - Wynne, Field - Jill Valentine, Tech - Michael Thorton, Caster - Excuse me?!!! How the hell are we supposed to get them in an infested zone?!! NO WAY! The best you can find is 2 Specializers...I suggest:

1. Weapon Master - Marksman
2. Doctor - Healer and Support
3. Donkey(!) - Stuff Carrier

You forgot a ninja,noob. :ninja:

And a Donkey to carry things would be nearly useless,in a situation like what we're discussing the only logical way to live is by taking refuge somewhere, you wouldn't need a donkey outside of maybe carrying a lot of water..but it would just slow you down and make it really dangerous for you.

It's possible as I was explaining to a female friend of mine. Who asked why I have an obsession with zombies. I told her cause I'm gonna be ready. Then I explained my plans, which go something like this...

Wait maybe I shouldnt tell cause then if one of you becomes a zombie you'll know what Im planning.

As I said before, Do you like to be eaten alive or die of hunger? Besides there no way your group can carry +100K of supply(ATLEAST) and you can't use vehicles so you have to use an 'animal'.

To be honest, the best weapon in the event of zombie invasion is your brain. :)
I'm not joking. Since most Zombies in the mythology are dumber than a box of rocks, you'd be hard pressed to fail at finding ways to stop them from eating your tasty brains.

Baring my brain, I wouldn't mind access to the AA-12.
The world's first truly automatic shotgun. What zombie can shrug off that much power? A zombie Cyberdemon? That's what the Fatman is for. :)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atchisson_Assault_Shotgun

Also, as backup I would use an MM-1 grenade Launcher.
Those aren't too hard to find, and in the event of a zombie apocaylse, I'm sure Police departments won't have people there to complain about you stealing their MM-1s.
Yes, I know, they only use tear gas in them, but still, finding the exploding ones aren't that hard. Military supply base.
I don't know, those are the weapons I would use.

I would also team up with the survivors. Especially if one of them was Jeri Ryan. :hubbahubba: Or Allison Mack... :)

And there are always survivors.

Now, if someone wants to give me the 25mm dismounted AA gun from FOOK 2, I won't complain. :)
What human rights violations for firing an Anti-air weapon at people? :)

And Terasha, thank you so much for that link, I used to watch that movie all the times on USA. Now I finally know the name of it!

WTF?!

we have the largest battalion of debunkers, critques and physics-first advocators on the known webz, yet the poll indicates a leading vote in

Of course! Anything is possible. :o

Well, in that case, it's only possible in the event that we all are a forgotten life experiment done up by aliens to see what happens when you give the populus different skin tones. And after awhile our dna/rna reverts back to the original engineered culture, resulting in 99% of the population turning into feral ghoul/zombies.

I also think the us goverment has a secret base on the dark side of the moon, which Pink Floyd was trying to warn us about on their album...

Hey Volvagia would the Desert Eagle be a good choice as sidearm? You seem like you know this stuff.

I'm not him.. but the INI Desert Eagle is chambered for cartridges ranging from .357 magnum up through the .41 and .44 magnum rounds
-as well as the .440 Cor-bon, ending in the .50 Action Express

As long as your wrists hold out against the recoil, the weapon is good against most anything.

downsides
-small magazine capacity, seven to nine rounds depending on caliber.
-heavy and bulky as hell
-tends to jam often if not properly cleaned and maintained.

Hope this helps :)

I hope my 580 hours on L4D2 has trained me enough to survive a zombie apocalypse, oh and although I haven't read the bulk of this thread a flame thrower is a bad idea against zombies, bulelts and knive people! Bullets and knives :gun:

Snip

Recoil is a big thing, and you don't want a lot of recoil when you're busy killing a horde of zombies coming at you. You want something, that is light and has a good enough recoil that you can still get quick shots off and get away.

Snip

You're gonna have a hard time resupplying your grenade launcher because they're not all meant to fire the same. Tear gas shells are different than grenade shells (I believe they're different in diameter and stuff), and you don't want one blowing up when you fire it and back fire on you.

Hey Volvagia would the Desert Eagle be a good choice as sidearm? You seem like you know this stuff.

Recoil, like I said. Recoil is a big thing. Any Desert Eagle you shoot, is going to have a good recoil to it and like Old_Andy said, if you don't have a stiff enough wrist and your wrist doesn't snap because of the weight being pushed back into your arm, you're not going to be having very much fun with it. Mainly because it'll probably go up into your face and smash your nose or something

Not to repeat Old Andy, but a Desert Eagle would be a really bad idea..you're better off with a gun that has less recoil,is less bulky and a bigger clip.

I've only read half of the reply's to this thread, and I know that most of you would be zombie chow in no time.

Remember, semi-auto is your friend. Save as much ammo as possible. Only headshots kill, so what would spraying do?

I know my stuff. I've read The Zombie Survival Guide cover to cover more times than I can remember. Okay, maybe only about five times. But I'm still more prepared then most of you are!

I was also shocked at the poll ( I voted no way ) I figured the OP would get laughed at by page two and that would be the end of this thread, especially with is S-E-R-I-O-U-S thing.

Zombies are fun. It's fun to sit and plan how you would survive. My sister does this in her spare time. And as strange as it may seem, some people actually want it to happen.

If I were to choose an apocalypse I would choose zombie fo sho.
