Hey guys ive been thinking about a Rp style on zombies, I tried it once before but thats when the great down time started. But know that it seems like alot of new people are joining and the fourms are coming back to life I wanted to know how it sounds

I have alittle idea about how it happens and the setting is but I am going to need some help, how does it sound?

Just like I helped Josh, I could help you, but there's no guarantee that I'll be joining. I'm really good on settings and stuff if you need that kind of stuff, or I could just give you basic ideas to back up the plot.

I would love to join a Zombie RP, for awhile now I have been peeking into here lately looking for an open RP that interests me.

Do you mean ghouls or actual zombies? Like the kind that spread infection through a bite? And walk really slow, or perhaps they're fast-movers.

I'd love to help you build a zombie RP. I have a knack and serious passion for anything zombie-survival related.

These are real zombies, they are mixed. Some can be fast or slow and people are immune to bite but some can not if people want to be hard core on it

Noes. It can't be done. Zombies dun do good with Fallout lore. Infectious Ghouls, maybe, but you can't really can't put a zombie in Fallout, just use Ghouls. They eat flesh, look rotten, are a disease, and make those monstrous noises, so use them.

Thats were you are wrong, It has been done before but it died because people started to leave the fourms ans stoped posting. As for ghouls that has been done to many times I want to do somthing that is new and refreshing than ghouls overunning the wastes

Ringman is right, Ghouls overrunning the wastes/a huge eclipse or something that makes it always dark and ghouls coming out of the metros has been done quite a few times.

However, Skippy, you DO have a point. Ghouls and zombies are a bit to closely related. I'm kind of having second thoughts as to how exactly a full scale zombie invasion of the wastes would work. Because its not like the towns aren't defended, there aren't a ton of people roaming the wastes, and there are TONS of things that would rip a few zombies to pieces. There is also the matter of where this mysterious disease came from. My idea being that there was a test lab that was carrying a mutated form of rabies in an unfinished stage. But due to the bombs the virus mutated rapidly and infected the entire scientific staff of over 400 people. But since they need nothing to survive, they simply walk around the lab that is situated deep in a ravine.

Then some group of idiots/adventurers comes in and opens up the lab. Thus unleashing the 400 zombies within. But for the sake of the RP, some things about the Wastes will need to be changed. That or we'll have to move it to another location that most likely has more people out in the open so there is more of a chance of the serious kind of zombie invasion.

It could have been a Vault experiment! think of it, the goverment make a secrate vault outside of DC and test out a new super drup that heals people ten time faster than morphine or stimpacks. Finding that the pacients die two miniutes after injection and reanimate the testie the lead scientist went mad over the fact that it didnt work and made a air born gas out of it and put it in the vaults air vents. Over one thousand vault civilians military and scientists alike are infected with this drug and the procces happens, few people are immune but get killed by the murderious monsters

A group of treasure hunters found about this vault from vault tec computers in the vault tec head quarters not knowing the drug made the inhabdance into phyco undead that kill what ever lives. They open the vault and relese the air born strian of the drug in the wastes along with the pre existing zombies. The events inside the vault will repete and survivors that are immune to the air born strian and bite will haft to escape the wasteland!

I did an RP exactly like this. The setting I had instead though was that it took place in a vault called 105. Which is a vault built for the wealthy, and was the biggest on the east coast holding about 2000 residents. The story takes place that the vault ended up being a vault tech experiment gone horribly wrong and everyone in the vault is turned into zombies. The surviors (Us) had to fight are way up from the vault basemant to the exit while keeping our eyes open for the GECK.

Yeah this looked amazing. Do it on an island or something so it's not like a full blown invasion because it would be very difficult for the zombies to infect anyone in the wasteland as everyone in the wasteland is either a badass or is in a very safe place, rivet city, ten penny tower. Plus with all the super mutants and [censored] they would not find enough humans to infect. Maybe like some island with a vault in the caribbean and some would be treasure hunters hear about it build a boat, recruit quite a few mercenaries and sail for it, it would be tropical with one town and a vault in the mountainious region. Their would be all different kinds like in Left for Dead and they attack at night so The Treasure hunters go to the vault during the day but by the time they get their it becomes dark and they have to fight their way to the boat and people would become separated and [censored].

No, we're doing it in a familiar place, I say we stick with D.C. Besides, islands always seemed so off-putting for zombie stories for some reason. Its just the thought of lush jungle and sandy beaches, but with undead cannibals in cabana shirts. It just can't be taken seriously.

Also, when we do start this, I say we all start at Tenpenny Tower. It'd be one of the coolest places to defend! We're all sort of like the wealthier people in the Wastes, but for different reasons other than "Ah yes we have... money!" My character for example will be a retired Enclave Officer, put on leave for awhile from his more active duties on the West Coast. He heard of Tenpenny, so he went!

And not EVERYONE is either a bad ass or in a safe place. Think of places like Big Town or Paradise Falls (sure its probably THE safest place due to its residents, but it COULD be overtaken). Even Rivet City could be taken by zombies given the right circumstances, all it takes is one infected person to oget into the ship, and blamco, they be [censored].

Well then, send your sheets to me. If its okay with you Ringman, I'd like to take the char sheets for evaluation. I've been doing this for awhile, and anyone who's been in one of my RP's (no matter how short-lived they ALWAYS are) will tell you, I like my char sheets well made.

Naming a zombie RP is easy. Anything involving infection or disease or a pathogen; if you can name the disease use that. I'll also be making a bio later today.

Name:
Nickname:
Age:
Race: (I'd prefer humans, but ghouls are fine)
Gender:

Hair color:
Eye Color:
Skin Tone:

Appearance: (Be descriptive, in every RP I've made I've tried drilling this into your skulls but it never seems to take. Scars, tattoos, physical build, all that stuff goes here.)

Skills: (Also be descriptive, WHY is he a good marksman?)

Clothing: (Anything goes)
Armor: (NO POWER ARMOR or anything of the same magnitude)

Weapons: (No major stuff like rocket launchers, mini-guns, laser or plasma weapons. We're all average dudes here, we don't have serious access to that stuff... yet. And you don't have to choose stuff from the Fallout games.)

Personality: (How are you with others? Any phobias? Any mental weakness or strengths? All goes here.)

Bio: (You've all done this before. Make it good, but I want no novels. And you know, your whole family didn't have to die in a Mutant attack, and you don't HAVE to be searching for long lost Lucy Who. You also don't have to be the badass slaver who can take a fly's wings off with a single bullet from a mile away without killing it.)
